  12. I am attempting to develop a client/server application. My client 
  13. is a PC computer which will connect to the server via phone modem.
  14. THe server is a UNIX system. I have never done anything like this before.
  15. I would really appreciate hearing from anyone who has developed a similar
  16. application. I don't even know where to begin.
